A LONGTIME COOKIE CONNOISSEUR  Henry Morgan had always believed he could bake the “perfect cookie.” In 1985 he set out to do so. After months of work and testing hundreds of recipes, Mr. Henry, as he has come to be known, believed he had created the best cookie ever. Since the success of his first cookie, gourmet milk chocolate chip with fresh roasted pecans, Mr. Henry has gone on to create a macadamia nut cookie with gourmet white chocolate chips, a delicious fudge pie with fresh roasted pecans, and a uniquely moist and creamy milk chocolate pound cake with pecans called a Herschel Cake. “The secret is the ingredients. We will only use the finest ingredients such as gourmet chocolate, fresh eggs, and real butter,” says Mr. Henry. In October 2006, Mr. Henry’s was purchased by Headland Gourmet Bakery, LLC of Headland, Alabama. They have carried on the commitment that began with Henry Morgan to use only the finest and freshest ingredients. They have also added two new cookies to their product line - Peanut Butter Morsel Cookies and M&M Cookies.
